On the N2 from Durban to Empangeni, take the Richards Bay off-ramp. At traffic lights, turn right onto the R34 to Richards Bay. Continue along the road for approximately 20km (12.4 miles), into the suburb of Meerensee, passing the Crocodile sanctuary on the left.
Just before the road veers sharp left, you will see a 'Hotel' turn-off to the right. Take this turn-off into Hibberd Drive, continue until you reach Launder Lane (second road on right).
Turn right into Launder Lane and carry on until you see the Protea Richards Bay on the right-hand side, on the corner of Launder and Davidson Lanes.
