From Johannesburg
Guests should proceed along the N3 south toward Durban. At Harrismith, the N5 should be taken to Bethlehem / Kestell for 4kms, turn-off to Bergville / Qwa Qwa for 8kms. After this, take the R74 Bergville / Oliviershoek Pass. The sign reads Bergville, Northern / Central Berg resorts. Guests should stay on the R74 past Bergville and into Winterton. On entering Winterton on the left is an Engen Petrol Station, directly opposite to the right is the R600, take this and travel down the R600 for about 20km, see The Nest entrance on the right.
From Durban
Guests should take the N3 North toward Johannesburg and then turn off the highway to the left at exit number 179 reading Estcourt North / Giants Castle, Central Drakensberg. At the stop turn left and drive for about 30km until reaching an intersection, then turn left into the R600 (Central Berg). Travel down the R600 for about 7km to The Nest entrance on the right.
For international guests flying in to Johannesburg, it is recommended that a hire car be used for the journey to the The Nest. Another option would be to take a scheduled bus service to the town of Estcourt, closest to the venue, and a transfer shuttle can then be arranged. There is also an airstrip 10 minutes away from the Nest for air charters.
